The Wholesale House’s Watts up ’09 Dealer Show held on Saturday June 6th was a huge success! The parking lots were full of cars, the sun was shining high above and the weather was a perfect 75 degrees.

“Attendance was up nearly 30% and was the highest since the show’s inception ten years ago” commented Marcy Keesbury, president of The Wholesale House. “We had dealers here from twenty two different states coming from as far away as Arizona, New York, Texas and Louisiana to take advantage of one-time only show opportunities.”

“One on one interaction with all the vendors at their booths gave our dealers an opportunity to gain knowledge from some of the leaders in our industry” explained Jared Downing, National Sales manager for The Wholesale House. “I believe dealers also came away with a heightened level of awareness of how to make their business more profitable in today’s competitive market”

All Dealers in attendance enjoyed a catered lunch provided by Brand-X Car Audio and American International with refreshments provided by Boss Audio.  The customer waiting area was once again sponsored by Power Acoustik featuring big screen TVs and a popcorn machine for customers taking a break from the show or waiting for their orders to be processed.  The paging system sponsored by TView, once again notified customers that their orders were ready to pickup regardless of where they were at the show and refreshments were available in the waiting area compliments of Q-power.

The 6th annual Dealer’s Choice Best of Show Car award, sponsored by Maxxsonics, drew nearly 60 entrants, and best of show was won by Rimz + Customz from Springfield, Ohio; for their 1990 Chevy Corvette.  Their trophy was presented by Marcy Keesbury, President of The Wholesale House and Mick French, Vice President of The Wholesale House.  Also receiving trophies were Big Boi Toyz, Kustom Kreations, Noise & Toys Car Audio, Exxotic Installations, Good Fellas Sight & Sound, Custom Auto Image INC, One-Off Concepts, Impressions, Advanced Car Audio and Elite Customz.

The JVC Pizza Eating competition was a huge attraction in the middle of the day, and Scott Stambaugh of McKinley Design in Sault St Marie, Michigan took first place and was awarded a KWAVX720 multi-media unit.  2nd Place went to John Paul Huntoon of Psycotic Kustomz, who was awarded a KDPDR50 head unit.  Coming in third and winning a KDR208 head unit was John Mooreman of J&M Sales.
