Wholesale House’s 11th Annual Dealer Show – Success!
 

Hicksville, OH (June 14, 2010)
Despite the cloudy skies and brief periods of showers The Wholesale House’s Watts up ’10 Dealer Show held on Saturday June 5th was a success!

“Due to the unfavorable weather attendance was down just slightly compared to last year” commented Marcy Keesbury, president of The Wholesale House. “However, we were still extremely pleased with the turnout. Dealers from eighteen different states came to take advantage of our one-time only show opportunities. Some from as far away as Mississippi, New Hampshire and Texas”

at the 2010 Wholesale House Dealer Show

“One on one interaction with all the vendors at their booths gave our dealers an opportunity to gain knowledge from some of the leaders in our industry” explained Jared Downing, National Sales manager for The Wholesale House. “I believe dealers also came away with a heightened level of awareness of how to make their business more profitable in today’s competitive market”

All Dealers in attendance enjoyed a catered lunch provided by
Brand X and American International with refreshments provided by Boss Audio.  The customer waiting area was once again sponsored by Power Acoustik featuring big screen TVs for customers taking a break from the show or waiting for their orders to be processed.  The paging system sponsored by TView, once again notified customers that their orders were ready to pickup regardless of
where they were at the show. There were snacks and refreshments available outside of the sales offices compliments of Omega and Qpower.

“It was a super show for Fusion. The Timberland Racing semi rig, outfitted throughout with Fusion products, impressed the crowd all day long. The Fusion brand definitely made a statement” Chuck McLennan relayed to 12voltnews.com as he traveled I-55 on his return to his office in south Louisiana.

HushMat’s Tim McCarthy told 12voltnews.com “This was our first WholeSale House dealer show. I enjoyed meeting so many of their dealers and covering the profit opportunities the HushMat brand offers. I was extremely impressed to see how well the show was organized”.

The 7th annual Dealer’s Choice Best of Show Car award, sponsored by Maxxsonics, drew nearly 60 entrants. Best of show was won by  Low Boy Customs for their Chevy Deluxe.  Their trophy was presented by Mick French of The Wholesale House and Julio Reyes of Maxxsonics.  Also receiving trophies were Auto Graphics, Glass City Customs, DC Autosports, One-Off Concepts, Exxxotic Installations, Custom Auto Image, Big Boi Toyz and Energy Control Systems.
The JVC Pizza Eating competition was a huge attraction in the middle of the day. John Moorman of J&M Sales took first place and was awarded a KDR610 head unit.  Second Place went to William Knight of Boomers Extreme Systems & Acc., who was awarded a KDR310 head unit.  Coming in third and winning a KDR210 head unit was Mike Nolan of Mckinley Design.

Following the Pizza contest was the SoundStorm  woofer toss with first place being awarded to William Knight of Boomers Extreme Systems & Acc. who took home a SD702 multimedia piece. Taking second place and winning an EV21000 amplifier was Matt Sutherland of McKinley Design, while the third place prize of a pair of E12D woofers went to Adam Sova of Mckinley Design.

Audiopipe was on hand at Watts Up ’10 to show the company’s latest products and conduct a photo shoot for the company’s 2011 calendar. On Saturday models posed with various vehicles equipped with Audiopipe gear. A Sunday photo shoot on a nearby lake completed the calendar photo shoot. French recounted to 12voltnews.com ” This is something unique that we had not done before. We announced it to our dealers ahead of time and had a lot of really good Audiopipe powered cars at the show – everyone hopeful of seeing their ride in the 2011 Audiopipe calendar”.

Prize drawings were held every hour and included merchandise from TView, JVC, R/T Enterprises, Boss Audio, American Bass, Legacy, Audiopipe, Pyle, XXX, Omega, Hushmat, Dynamat, Soundstorm, Polk, Naxa, Boyo, Bluetrek, American HiFi and MTX.
