The impressive 15-inch speaker represents a significant upgrade from its predecessor, now offering over 35mm of mechanical excursion. Its 2.75” coil is a technological marvel that outperforms most 3” coils without adding weight. Additionally, the motor incorporates a large magnet shorting ring to minimize distortion and ensure a smoother response across the entire acoustic spectrum. This speaker also boasts a robust double-layer spider with fully tied-on and doubled-up “XL” tinsel leads, along with a competition-grade paper cone and a durable foam surround, making it a top-notch choice.
